Am I eligible?
In order to access governmental funds and register for a course you need to meet a few criteria:
European or Commonwealth citizenship
You must be a European or Commonwealth citizen. Students outside the EU can also access funds and educational programmes under certain conditions. Contact us for more details if you fit into this category!
Settled, Pre-settled, or ILR
Your settled or pre-settled status is the holy grail! It means you are legally allowed to live and work in the UK. If you have pre-settled status, you’ll also need to provide proof that you have a job. However, if you’re already part of the privileged club of settled individuals, workplace proof is not required. Alternatively, an ILR (indefinite leave to remain) will also suffice!
Intermediate level of English
While British people may not be particularly strict about this, it’s still beneficial to have a good level of English, especially if you’re looking to pursue higher education. Most institutions require students to have at least an intermediate level of English.
Last obtained diploma
To enrol in a course, you will need to submit your most recently obtained diploma at some point. The specific requirement largely depends on the type of course you’re registering for. However, don’t worry if you don’t have a diploma! More and more educational institutions in the UK are welcoming students without prior degrees.
